Luxe For Less: Red and White Stripe Top Outfit Combination

1. Top Shop Trench Coat / 2. Quay Australia Sunglasses / 3. Old Navy Red and White Stripe Top / 4. Bluefly Navy Vest  / 5. Levi Skinny Jeans / 6. Nordstrom Red Pumps

Where do I begin about my beloved Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific…her style is everything and more. There’s rarely a post that isn’t a love at first sight. This image of her rocking a classic trench coat with a red and white stripe top made me long for Fall fashion sooner than later.

There’s really not much to it, it’s a classic well tailored look, but the red and white stripes make it feel new with the addition of a long navy vest layered on top. Her version from head to toe is a rent payment for most so I decided to re-create it for less!

Besides the trench at $150 (which is a great investment since it never goes out of style), all other pieces are either $70 or less (mostly $40 or less). Are you ready to channel your inner “Where’s Waldo?” for the Fall? I sure am.

Are You Crushing on Velvet Yet?

If you haven’t fallen in love with velvet yet, I promise you soon will. Velvet is creeping back into all of your favorite stores and there’s good reason for it. A velvet dress, shoes, choker or pant adds texture to your wardrobe which in return adds a different dimension to your usual looks. If you’re looking for a way to update your wardrobe now and for the colder months, I say choose velvet.

New Color Combo for ALL Sizes and Under Budget

I’m always on the hunt for new color combinations, especially with Fall creeping around the corner! And lately, the red and olive color combination is giving me life! So excited about it I decided to create this post for my trendsetting readers but what’s even more special is I was able to find great looks for ALL sizes and under budget- every piece is under $90 (and mostly $50 or less)! Yay!

The back story to this is I recently gained a new follower on Instagram who asked if I could create some looks for the plus size community. I know many women struggle with body issues, myself included, so I was inspired to create this look for all body types – skinny, skinny fat, curvy and plus size. Whatever your size, you can find a look here that will work.

Let me know what you think about this post? Do you feel the plus size community is underserved in fashion?
