Fashion & Finances with Tiffany Aliche aka The Budgetnista

The one thing I equally love as much as fashion is personal finance. I know these two don’t seem a likely pair but somehow I’ve learned to live and love both equally, not always perfectly, but to my best ability. Fashion requires spending and personal finance advises to limit your spending. To get some clarity I reached out to personal finance guru, Tiffany Aliche aka The Budgetnista, for questions and answers to help us all learn more about balancing a love for fashion and managing our finances.

New Color Combo for ALL Sizes and Under Budget

I’m always on the hunt for new color combinations, especially with Fall creeping around the corner! And lately, the red and olive color combination is giving me life! So excited about it I decided to create this post for my trendsetting readers but what’s even more special is I was able to find great looks for ALL sizes and under budget- every piece is under $90 (and mostly $50 or less)! Yay!

The back story to this is I recently gained a new follower on Instagram who asked if I could create some looks for the plus size community. I know many women struggle with body issues, myself included, so I was inspired to create this look for all body types – skinny, skinny fat, curvy and plus size. Whatever your size, you can find a look here that will work.

Let me know what you think about this post? Do you feel the plus size community is underserved in fashion?

90’s Inspired Logo T-Shirts Under $40

There’s nothing quite like fashion making a comeback from your favorite decade which is why I am really loving the 90’s inspired logo t-shirt trend. Back then, wearing your favorite brand’s logo in large bold lettering was everything.

From Tommy Hilfiger to Calvin Klein, wearing your brand loud and proud was the name of the game. Now high-end designers have started the fun again, namely the Kardashian/Jenner go-to brand, Balmain. Inspired to find versions for the trendsetters on a budget, I have found these three logo t’s to get you started in the fun. I have also included a link to ASOS Marketplace where you can score a one of a kind vintage inspired 90’s t-shirt.

1.) Nike

2.) Calvin Klien

3.) Adidas
